The dog days of august are upon us, so it's time for all the usual summertime rituals. Go see the movies that weren't good enough for earlier in the summer. Watch your baseball team play itself into/out of contention. Complain about the heat / global warming, and then take a long road trip and crank up the AC. Start your summer reading list and get ready for Back to school. If summer here is winter in the southern hemisphere, do they get the artsy Oscar-type movies now?
