Part eight.2 - Without enemies, who needs friends?

Apparently having a mutual threat makes for smart cooperation, acacias and ants seem to stop helping each other out without the big elephants around to chew on the plants. With the big beasts around, the ants help out the plants on defense and the plants provide shelter and food. Once they are removed from the picture, the acacias stop becoming so accommodating to their guests and then the negative element moves in. The ironic thing about that is the plants were actually protected from the elephants by people trying to help them. Maybe the writers guild and the AMPTA (or whatever their initials are) could learn from nature start working together to give us back our proper TV shows before the reality shows/ other entertainment takes over.
