Part eight.5 - I do not think you know the meaning of surcharge?

Normally a surcharge an extra fee added onto another fee or charge. However for some airline tickets they can actually be higher than the cost of the ticket itself. Beware all such thing, one you get used to getting fleeced, it'll be like those odious TicketMaster + facility fees + etc that get tacked on to tickets. Or the $5-10 in miscellaneous fees and taxes that get tacked on to everyone of your various bills. Yes fuel is more expensive as of late, but customers would probably be better off with more realistic pricing of everything without everyone trying to slip in a surcharge here and there ( I think there half the space on phone bills is related to random line charges). Of course the chances of that happening are about as likely as a outbreak of common sense at the expense of profit.
