Part eight.20 – A rose by another name.

A cyclone is just another name for a hurricane, and Myanamar, is the new name for the country formerly known as Burma. Natural disasters happen, but the farther away it is or the less people see about it, the less they care. It’s not necessarily all indifference, although most might not be able to point out the country on a map, it’s a matter of how much you see of it. It makes it much easier to ignore things when they are out of sight, even if the death toll from the cyclone is from 45-85 times greater. Cyclones don’t hit us, only hurricanes do.
